Here we go!

It's been two weeks since I posed anything! Mostly because I had law school orientation and intro to law school week, and this week classes have started! So far things are going pretty well, I feel like I am understanding the material and I don't feel like the work is overwhelming. On the other hand, I'm just kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop. I know that it is going to get so much harder and I'm not ready for that!!

For now, I'm excited to take a break in St. George with some friends and no think about school for a couple of days!

Law School...

...starts on Monday!  I am really excited to start school, but at the same time I'm nervous,  meeting all new people and trying to establish a study pattern again!  But I think that I can do it, I just have to not have quite as much fun as I have been having!

So here is fair warning, if you call me and I don't return your call or can't hang out, its because I am studying!  I am going to try to have a life outside of school because that is just not a fun existence--studying all the time--so hopefully I won't completely fall off the face of the earth!!

Olympic Spirit!

So every summer I make the boys at the track one big, exciting treat.

Last summer I made this beauty--

a summer bobsled of cake!

This year in the spirit of the Olympic games in Beijing, I made this:

The Olympic Rings!  Thanks to Faith for the idea to use M&Ms for the colors.  I was struggling as to how I was going to do that!  But here is my creation of the summer!

Breaking Dawn

So, Breaking Dawn was released at probably the worst time for me.  What I should be doing is reading books to get ready for law school, but no, I couldn't tear myself away from the vampire-warewolf-human love triangle!

I'll have to admit that it was a little harder for me to get into, just like Twilight was.  Not as maddening as New Moon was, but really it has to be like that to establish the plot.  I say that it was hard for me to get into, but I just got it on Sunday and I finished today--Wednesday....It was really really great near the end.  I'm very happy with the way it ended, I cried like the girly girl I am!  But now I am sad that it is over!  What am I going to do with myself now???

Oh right, LAW SCHOOL...

The Missionaries: Episode ???

I just realized I haven't posted anything about the Elders in a while... I have to say that they are pretty amazing. Elder Hickmott was transferred soon after my baptism so I was thankful that he was there for that. Our new Elder's name is Elder Parreida. He is from Brazil and is of course really nice and loves the gospel.

I am meeting with them again on Tuesday so I will update more after that!
