EMPLOYMENT!!

This week I had two interviews, one was to teach at Kaplan.  That is where I took my LSAT class and it really helped me a lot.  So I thought, why not?  I won't hear about that one for a couple of weeks...

The other interview was with the University of Utah Department of Athletics Compliance.  It was for a graduate assistant position that would run the academic year next year.  I thought that my interview was great and that I really clicked with all the people there.  I wanted it SO badly that it was all I could think about yesterday!

I got a phone call today and I GOT THE JOB!  The really exciting thing about this is that it pays in-state tuition for the year!  So I will not have to pay tuition for my second year of law school!  Finally I will be using my Sport Management degree!!

Happy day!

World Cup: Park City

This afternoon, I went up to the UOP to visit Cassie because she was working all week [really hard] and I rarely saw her...  Plus I wanted to see Josh because I have not talked to him [in person] in forever!  So I took a picture, I said "pretend that you are working" and he got kinda mad because he has been sleeping at work in order to save driving time so that he could sleep during that time...
Notice the cookies in his hands, I made cookies because I knew that the boys would be really tired and in need of a pick-me-up, so I made 6 dozen cookies and walked down the track after the first heat of the last race and handed them out.  They all looked really appreciative :)  I stuck around to see the awards because Cassie had to stay and we were going to hang out that night so here are some pictures from the rest of the event at the Park:
World Cup Trophies: 4-man bobsled, combined 2 and 4-man, and overall World Cup winners
Team USA 3: 5th place!  Nice work boys!

Team Holcomb [USA 1] won the race!

Then Cassie and I, went to dinner and to Harry O's with the bobsled boys [as chaperones] which was really fun, but I am still trying to recover from that night, it was the least I have slept in a REALLY long time (we're talking years...), but it was 100% worth it!

What's in that Home Depot bucket?

That's right, its flour!  Cassie and I bought 25 pounds of flour at Costco.  I always made fun of people who bought that much quantity of one thing, especially flour but we've used at least one and a half bags worth of the flour so its great that we have it!  But the only thing that I could find to keep the massive amounts of flour in was this Home Depot bucket...

Anyway I thought that this was funny today when I went to get some flour out for making cookies...

A Thank You Stephanie Revelli Post...

I just barely uploaded these pictures from my camera...
Steph got a new mixer so she gave me this one!  I love it SO much, I have already made a pie and a batch of cookies (not that I wouldn't have done this anyway).  But it is so nice to just turn it on and let it mix while I get the other ingredients together!  Thanks Steph!!

Also Steph made these cookies for me for my birthday!  They got a little smushed on the way home, but they tasted so great on my birthday!

Tonight, I went to the Harlem Globetrotters with the Revellis.  It was really fun, I'd never been to anything like that before!

He's Just Not That Into You!!

Friday night, a bunch of girls got together for dinner and we went to see the movie "He's Just Not that Into you"  which was great other than the girls screaming and clapping!  That could be the most annoying thing ever!  It is a movie, you are not at your house, don't yell out stuff during the movie!!  I think that is one of my biggest pet peeves...

I read the book so the movie was not really a surprise but it was still really great.  I am a fan of the chick flick and this did not disappoint, it was nice and girly!

It was a really fun night and it was great to see you girls, we don't hang out nearly enough!

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who came to my birthday dinner at the DoDo!  It was great to get together and I am glad that each and everyone of you are in my life!  Cassie and I both forgot our cameras so these were taken with my iPhone, and i'll post the pictures that she took with her phone as soon as I get them :)
